HM&H acts on behalf of and represents companies involved in the management and operation of hotel and tourist resorts. Moreover, we have counselled companies within the gambling industry including online gambling operators and support companies such as payment processors and gambling software providers.

The firm has handled numerous transactions involving the operations of major hotel chain brands and our practice in this sector includes a full range of services including real estate investigations and diligence, zoning requirements, negotiation of management agreements and franchise licenses, integration of properties into global hotel systems, staffing and employment matters, data collection and IP rights enforcement, immigration and labour permits for expatriates, etc.

With regard to the gaming industry, our services have ranged from regulatory matters and permits to KYC and AML regulatory compliance. In addition, we have counselled and assisted clients organising promotional games and/or supplying promotional gaming services during campaign structuring. We have also advised on  the issuance of promotional gaming permits as well as on compliance with the applicable requirements, including data protection matters.
